The gym has reopened after a temporary closure from 28 August to 7 September, during which brand-new, state-of-the-art Freemotion equipment has been installed to enhance the customer experience and support healthier lifestyles.

The refurbished facility now features modern, updated cardio and strength equipment, including iFIT-enabled machines, providing users with a more engaging and personalised workout experience. Members can also enjoy a range of new fixed resistance machines and a bespoke BLK BOX rig, offering even greater variety and functionality.

This upgrade forms part of the council's ongoing commitment to investing in high-quality leisure services that support the health, fitness and wellbeing of local communities.

Councillor Angela McClements, Telford & Wrekin Council Cabinet Member for Culture, Tourism and Leisure, said: "We're delighted to welcome our members back to the refurbished Aspirations gym at Horsehay.

"This upgrade is part of our continued investment in leisure services across the Borough, ensuring residents have access to modern, high-quality facilities that support their health and wellbeing.
