Residents and visitors are being encouraged to save the date for one of Telford and Wrekin’s most popular signature events, as the Telford Balloon Fiesta 2026 returns to Telford Town Park for a weekend packed with colour, community spirit and affordable family fun.

The celebrations begin on Friday 28 August 2026 from 5pm to 10pm with the much-loved Night Glow, a ticketed evening event offering a low-cost experience for families. Visitors can enjoy the magical sight of illuminated balloons glowing in time to music, creating a truly special atmosphere and an unforgettable start to the weekend.

The event continues with the free Telford Balloon Fiesta on Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 August 2026 between 12pm to 7pm where families and visitors can enjoy spectacular balloon displays alongside a range of entertainment and activities in the setting of Telford Town Park.

As one of the Council’s flagship events, the Balloon Fiesta reflects its commitment to supporting residents, strengthening communities, and ensuring everyone can access high-quality experiences close to home.
