Telford Balloon Fiesta Night Glow sells out as thousands set to enjoy family fun all weekend
Telford's Balloon Fiesta Night Glow has officially sold out, with thousands of residents and visitors set to enjoy one of the Borough's most spectacular summer events.
While tickets for the hugely popular Night Glow are no longer available, families can still enjoy two full days of free entertainment at the Balloon Fiesta in Telford Town Park on Saturday 29 August and Sunday 30 August from 12pm to 7pm, offering a fantastic low-cost day out during the school holidays.
The free daytime programme forms part of Telford & Wrekin Council's ongoing commitment to supporting residents through the cost-of-living challenges by providing accessible, affordable and free events for local families.
Visitors can enjoy spectacular balloon displays alongside a packed programme of free entertainment and activities including live music, the Wings Parachute Display Team, Boardroom Gaming Café, Dinky City, Storm in a Teacup Circus workshops, face painting, Telford Gaming Bus, The Cheer Box, walkabout performances from Fool's Paradise and much more.
Sunday will also feature the colourful and much-loved Telford Carnival, bringing even more entertainment and community spirit to the event.
Councillor Angela McClements, Telford & Wrekin Council Cabinet Member for Culture, Tourism and Leisure, said: “We are delighted that tickets for the Night Glow have sold out so quickly, demonstrating just how popular the Balloon Fiesta has become. However, there is still plenty for families to enjoy across the weekend, with free entry and a huge range of entertainment available for all ages."
