National Child Exploitation Awareness Day

This week, Telford & Wrekin Council marked National Child Exploitation Awareness Day with an important stakeholder event in Telford, sharing best practice with local partner agencies and promoting the impactful work that is being done in Telford and Wrekin to support children and young people and keep them safe.

The event featured a number of presentations including insight into the important work being done by the Holly Project and a filmed interview with two young women who bravely shared their stories and the positive outcomes they’ve experienced as a result of working with the Council’s CATE (Children Abused Through Exploitation) Team.
