Let’s Dine Team Celebrating award win success

The Let’s Dine Team is proudly celebrating following their success and recognition at the LACA Awards for Excellence 2025, recognises individuals and teams who make a real difference in education catering. The LACA Awards for Excellence took place yesterday evening, Wednesday 9 July 2025.

Well done and congratulations go to The Telford Langley School catering team who were named LACA Secondary School Catering Team of the Year.

Congratulations also go to the worthy runners up, Mike Tafft who represented Telford and the West Midlands in the national finals of School Chef of the Year competition and Kathy Dennis from Hollinswood Primary School and Nursery who was shortlisted in the final three for LACA Unsung Hero Award.

Councillor Shirley Reynolds, Cabinet Member for Early Years, Children, Young People, Education, Employment and Skills said “Let’s Dine has an amazing team, it’s testament to their hard work and dedication that they were shortlisted into three categories for these prestigious awards and it’s fantastic news that The Telford Langley School catering team took home the top prize. Congratulations to them all.”
