Get back to your best this September with a free first month membership and a brand-new gym at Horsehay
Residents across Telford and Wrekin are being encouraged to prioritise their health and wellbeing this September with a special membership offer from Telford & Wrekin Leisure Services and the reopening of a newly upgraded gym at Lawley & Horsehay Village Golf and Fitness Centre.
As families prepare for the return to school and many people settle back into work routines after the summer holidays, Telford & Wrekin Leisure Services has launched its 'Back to Your Best' campaign. Throughout September, anyone signing up for an Aspirations membership can enjoy their first month free, making it easier than ever to kick-start healthy habits and focus on their wellbeing.
The campaign coincides with the reopening of the gym at Lawley & Horsehay Village Golf and Fitness Centre on 8 September, following a major refurbishment and the installation of brand-new fitness equipment. The investment will provide members and local residents with a modern, enhanced fitness experience and even more opportunities to stay active.
An Aspirations membership provides access to a wide range of facilities across the Borough, including four swimming pools, seven fitness suites and more than 140 fitness classes, giving members the flexibility to choose activities that fit around their lifestyle.
Councillor Angela McClements, Telford & Wrekin Council Cabinet Member for Culture, Tourism and Leisure, said: "September is often a time when people look to reset and return to positive routines after the summer holidays. Our Back to Your Best campaign is designed to help residents do exactly that, with a free first month of membership giving people the opportunity to get started.
"We're also excited to reopen the gym at Lawley & Horsehay Village Golf and Fitness Centre on 8 September following a major upgrade. With brand-new equipment and improved facilities, alongside our September membership offer, there has never been a better time for residents to focus on their health and wellbeing and start their fitness journey with us."
Alongside the main campaign, Telford & Wrekin Leisure Services will also be supporting students arriving in Newport for the start of the new academic year. Students will be able to find out more about flexible membership options designed to fit around university life and varying term-time commitments.
With access to swimming, fitness classes and newly upgraded gym facilities across the leisure service, Aspirations aims to help more residents enjoy the physical and mental wellbeing benefits of being active.
Residents interested in taking advantage of the offer can visit TW Leisure website to sign up and find out more.
