“Check out the programme and see what’s on – you never know you might find a new hobby, make some new friends or get outside and discover somewhere new."

If you prefer your feet on the ground, or on pedals, Telford Bike Hub will be open, providing 'Learn 2 Ride' session for designed specifically for children aged 4+ who would like to learn how to independently ride a bike with pedals. The beginners group if for children who cannot currently ride a two wheeled bike unaided.

And if your bike has seen better days, Dr Bike will be on-site, offering free bike repairs and safety checks, so young cyclists can get back on their bikes without a worry.

There are plenty of other activities in parks and playgrounds around the borough form Quidditch, the magical Harry Potter-inspired sport, along with World Wrestling Entertainment, football with AFC Telford United Foundation, Shropshire Cricket, netball with Telford Netball Club and Telford & Wrekin Hockey Club will all be leading sessions to ensure top-notch instruction and plenty of fun.

Multi-sport sessions will include lots to choose form including football, basketball, dodgeball, and badminton for those who want to mix up their activity - run by the 4 All Foundation – who’s mission it is to provide safe spaces, deliver opportunities to promote health and wellbeing and advance education as the key to unlocking potential.

For little ones, there's something special too. Wild Telford outdoor sessions are designed for babies and toddlers, where they can enjoy nature-themed activities like trails and treasure hunts, all guided by the Shropshire Wildlife Trust. It's a perfect way to introduce younger children to the outdoors and spark their curiosity about nature.
