Councillor Ollie Vickers, Telford & Wrekin Council Cabinet Member for the Economy and Transport, said: " "We want as many people as possible to be able to enjoy the Telford Balloon Fiesta Night Glow and good public transport plays a vital role in making that happen.

"The £2 adult single fare and free travel for under 16s already make bus travel one of the most affordable ways to get to the event, and we've worked closely with Arriva to go a step further by agreeing a one-night extension to the majority of our bus services.

"These additional evening services will give residents across the Borough more options for travelling home after the Night Glow, helping to remove barriers for people who may otherwise struggle to attend and help remove the cost and stress of parking the car.

"By providing affordable fares alongside extended bus services, we're making the event more accessible, reducing reliance on the car and offering a convenient, sustainable way for people to enjoy one of Telford's most popular community events.

"We're encouraging people to leave the car at home where possible and take advantage of these additional services to make their journey to and from the Night Glow as easy as possible."

Residents are encouraged to plan their journeys in advance and make use of the additional services when travelling to and from the Telford Balloon Fiesta Night Glow. Find out more about the Telford Balloon Fiesta.
