Launched to help residents reset healthy habits after the summer, the campaign has been encouraging people to prioritise their health and wellbeing through access to fitness facilities, swimming pools and group exercise classes across the Borough.

The offer allows anyone signing up for selected Aspirations direct debit memberships during September to enjoy their first month free, providing an affordable way to kick-start a fitness journey before the autumn months arrive.

The campaign has also coincided with the reopening of the newly refurbished gym at Lawley & Horsehay Village Golf and Fitness Centre, which now features brand-new fitness equipment following a major investment in the facility.

Councillor Angela McClements, Telford & Wrekin Council Cabinet Member for Culture, Tourism and Leisure, said: "We've been delighted with the response to our Back to Your Best campaign so far, but there is still time for residents to take advantage of the free first month's membership before the offer comes to an end.

"Whether you're looking to get back into exercise, try something new or make use of our newly upgraded facilities at Horsehay, now is the perfect opportunity to get started. We want to make it as easy as possible for people to prioritise their physical and mental wellbeing as we head into autumn."

An Aspirations membership provides access to four swimming pools, seven fitness suites and more than 140 fitness classes across the borough, giving members the flexibility to stay active in a way that suits their lifestyle.
