Completion of premium apartments bring town centre living to Telford Town Centre
New premium, private rent apartments which will bring town centre living to Telford Town Centre are now complete.
A total of 84 modern private rent apartments at Denmark House, Station Quarter have been officially handed over to Nuplace, Telford & Wrekin Council’s wholly owned housing company.
A further 33 Nuplace homes and 72 Legal & General Affordable Homes, a mix of town houses, low-rise apartments and maisonettes, are also nearing completion adjacent to Denmark House at Station Quarter.
The fully-furnished apartments, constructed by Bowmer + Kirkland, are located across six floors and include a number of specially designed and adapted properties within the complex.
They also offer great views from the upper floors, all within easy reach of the excellent amenities within Telford Town Centre.
Each apartment comes with superfast broadband and occupants will be able to enjoy the spacious rooms, stylish bathrooms, sleek fitted kitchens, concierge service, a 24/7 parcel locker service and quality communal spaces indoors and out.
Nuplace successfully secured £4.725m of grant funding from West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA) to support the delivery of this residential scheme to create mixed tenure housing in the heart of the town centre.
It’s the perfect fit for people looking for high quality housing in a sustainable location, where everything is on their doorstep.
The Nuplace properties are available on a private rent basis, while the Legal & General Affordable Homes are for affordable rent and shared ownership.
Rental prices for Nuplace’s fully furnished apartments start from £850 per calendar month for one bedroom apartments and £1,000 per calendar month for two bedroom apartments.
Nuplace has recently released apartments on the ground, third and top floors for reservation.

Councillor Richard Overton, Telford & Wrekin Council’s Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Safer Streets and Better Housing, said:
“The completion of these apartments is monumental and is the first complex of its kind in Telford Town Centre.
“We’re thrilled to see the project completed as part of our vision to create vibrant residential spaces which can become homes for life for residents and make Telford a very attractive place to live and work. It’s all part of our vision to create a better Borough.
“The development of high quality, sustainable, town centre living at Station Quarter is responding to Telford’s need for homes in accessible locations, offering a mix of private and affordable rent, and shared ownership options.”
Richard Parker, Mayor of the West Midlands, said: "Station Quarter is exactly the kind of scheme I want to back, homes in a town centre done properly.
"Telford and Wrekin have done something here worth recognising. This is what happens when councils are ambitious about housing and have the backing to make it happen.
"Housing gives people the platform to get on with their lives and are a driver of growth. That is why we are putting money behind schemes like this one across the region."
Ryan Edson, Bowmer + Kirkland Project Manager, said:
“Denmark House has been a pleasure to deliver on behalf of Nuplace and Telford & Wrekin Council, to see this former brownfield field site transformed in a relatively short space of time into premium apartments, is fantastic.
“During the project, our team generated £2.6 million in social value, including the engagement of 23 apprentices and three T Level students. We also made charitable donations, and notably, 48% of the workforce lived within a 20 mile radius of the site.”
The residential project is just one part of the Station Quarter project which has already delivered The Quad, a digital skills and enterprise hub which is helping businesses to flourish, and next door a new sixth form centre ‘Telford 6th’ is due to open to students this September.
Station Quarter is all part of a wider Investing in Telford and Wrekin programme which is transforming other areas of the Borough including Oakengates and Wellington.
Investing in Telford and Wrekin is laying foundations for the future, bringing opportunities for people to learn new skills, secure great jobs, enjoy top cultural activities and live in an attractive place they can be proud of.
