Armed forces community invited to festive Breakfast with Santa

Serving personnel, veterans, and their families are invited to kick off the festive season at a special Breakfast with Santa event this Saturday (22 November) at The Christopher Turley Armed Forces Community Hub in Dawley.

Breakfast with Santa at the Armed Forces Hub

The event runs from 9:30am to 12:00pm, offering a relaxed and welcoming space for the Armed Forces community to come together and celebrate. Guests can enjoy:

  • A freshly made breakfast bap and a hot drink
  • A chance to meet Father Christmas, with a special gift for every child
  • Festive music and carols around the Christmas tree
  • Christmas crafts and colouring for children

Tickets are just £2 per adult, and children go free with a paying adult.

Councillor Paul Davis, Telford & Wrekin Council’s Cabinet Member for Communities and Civic Pride, said:

It’s a wonderful way to start the season and show our appreciation for those who serve and have served, and a great opportunity for the forces community to get together with likeminded people.”

Breakfast with Santa coincides with Great Dawley Town Council’s Christmas Lights Switch On event, from 1pm on the same day, with live entertainment, an ice rink, festive crafts and fun for all ages. The big switch-on is at 5pm.

The Christopher Turley Armed Forces Community Hub is delivered in partnership with Telford & Wrekin Council, Great Dawley Town Council, and Telford Mind, as part of ongoing efforts to support and connect the Armed Forces community in Telford and Wrekin.
