The Place to be for great what’s on entertainment in Telford is The Place.

2022 is going to be a great year for The Place with a packed programme of music, comedy, shows and of course the 2022 pantomime Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs!

2021 finished the autumn season of shows on a high, with a fantastic run of the pantomime Aladdin.  The Place are looking forward to the first spring season of shows since 2020 with some great entertainment for visitors to choose from.

Councillor Carolyn Healy (Lab), Cabinet Member for climate change, green spaces, natural and historic environment and cultural services said: “The Place is a wonderful asset to Telford and offers a full and diverse mix of entertainment for local audiences to take advantage of.  For a lot of people pantomime is their first visit to a theatre and we are fortunate that we hosted such a successful pantomime recently, which will hopefully encourage people to visit The Place again in the future.”

There are over 30 shows in the calendar between now and the end of March, with lots of choice for visitors.  There is an eclectic mix of music with a choice of 60s to chart pop, guitar music, rock, musical theatre, rock n roll, Irish, soul and Motown. If a more light hearted evening is what you’re after there’s a choice of comedy shows or stand-up comedy by some of TVs favourite names. There are shows suitable for the whole family, dance and drama so you really are spoilt for choice.

Christmas 2022 will see pantomime Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs arrive at The Place.  A truly wicked pantomime that will see Snow White and her friends attempt to defeat the evil Wicked Queen.  Will there be a happy ending?  Find out between 8 December 2022 – 2 January 2023.

The events calendar is looking really full for this year so if you’re looking for a great night out and some entertainment look at what’s on at The Place.
