PRH

We moved to the area last year and one of the things that atracted us was that we had hospital services within a few miles of our home. Being older this was important to us. One of the things that concerns me is if I or my husband have an emergency and cannot drive to Shrewsbury what happens as ambulances cannot always be relied on. Also with the growing population of Telford surely it is imperative that these services are kept available to us. PRH have parking problem so how will we manage if we have to go to Shrewsbury who I'm sure also have parking problems. It's a long way to Shrewsbury if you have an emergency or someone is about to give birth. Think this through properly and not too just try and save money. Agency nurses must take up a huge amount of the budget. I spoke to a nurse last week who had applied to the agencies who, as she put it. ' they pay better'. Please let us KEEP PRH AND ALL ITS SERVICES!!!

PRH

I was very shocked to learn how few people have signed up to PRH4ME. Is there something more that the council can do about getting petitions going in every public place (shops, pubs, town centres, drs surgeries etc.)? I have no idea how to do this kind of thing but feel, like most people in Telford I think, that something really powerful needs to be done to keep all services at PRH and Shrewsbury Hospital. All I've heard so far is political rhetoric from people who do not have the interest of the local communities' at heart. Thank you for your time.
