📈 COVID 19 numbers are rising rapidly both locally and nationally since the Christmas period. We have seen rates more than double in the past 2 weeks.

The only way we can reduce this is by people getting tested in order to identify positive cases who can then isolate ASAP reducing the risk of spreading the virus to others.

There are now 3 options to get a test:

1️⃣   You're Asymptomatic (showing no symptoms)

You can now book a rapid test at The Place Telford in Oakengates if you'd like to check if you could have coronavirus, so as to help keep others safe.

📅 Appointments must be pre-booked online here and you should receive your results within 30 minutes of testing.

2️⃣   You have one of the three key symptoms

🗣 A new continuous cough

🌡 A high temperature

👃 A change in taste or smell

If you have any of the above, you MUST ISOLATE immediately and book a test here

🏠 ALL members of your household also needs to isolate until you have the results and, if positive you MUST ALL isolate for at least 10 days.

3️⃣   You have any of the following precautionary symptoms:

🔸 Headaches

🔸 Aches and pains

🔸 Feeling very tired for no good reason

🔸 Sore throat

🔸 Runny nose

🔸 Sneezing

🔸 Tummy ache in children

You can book a test online here

❗️ When you get to the following question ⬇️

Why are you asking for a test?

You need to select the following answer:

✅ My local council or health protection team has asked me (or someone I live with) to get a test, even though I do not have symptoms

ℹ️ Anyone with one or more of the above precautionary symptoms does not need to self-isolate unless they receive a positive test result.
