Consultation starts on the Council's new Customer Strategy
People in Telford & Wrekin are being asked for their views on the Council's new Customer Strategy, which outlines our aims for how we want to serve our customers and sets out the standards of service that residents should expect to receive from us.
Cllr Richard Overton, Cabinet Member for Enforcement, Community Safety and Customer Services said 'Customers are at the heart of everything we do and we want to ensure that the experience that our customers have is outstanding. To achieve this, we need to get the basics right, pay attention to detail, and ensure we uphold high standards of customer service across the entire organisation. Our relationship with our customers will also support the delivery of all the Council’s priorities and help us deliver the outcomes we want for Telford & Wrekin, as articulated in the Council Plan.
This Customer Strategy describes what we want to achieve to realise this vision and how we will deliver it.”
We will be giving residents and stakeholders the opportunity to feedback on our draft strategy to ensure that we capture their views within the final strategy.
The consultation will also give residents and stakeholders the opportunity to tell us about their previous experiences of contacting the council, which will help us understand what we are currently doing well and what areas we need to improve.
