Adventure and Disc Golf returns to Telford Town Park
The popular outdoor activities Adventure and Disc Golf, in Telford Town Park are set to re-open from Tuesday 4 August following Government announcements around the coronavirus pandemic response.
From Tuesday 4 August customers who have pre booked an adventure or disc golf activity online will be able to access the course. Customers will not be able to pay directly at Telford Town Park.
Telford Town Park is slowly returning to a new level of normal, as Sky Reach High Ropes Course has recently re-opened and the funfair is now open from 12pm-6pm.
The teams have been working hard behind the scenes throughout the closures to ensure the park remains well kept and activities are ready to re-open, this includes new safety measures and guidelines for customers to follow.
Telford Town Park is asking customers to arrive at least 10 minutes prior to each activity, and where possible, is encouraging customers to bring their own hand sanitiser. Collection and drop off of equipment is located adjacent to the Visitor Centre and administered outside.
Cllr Carolyn Healy – Cabinet member for Climate Change, Visitor Economy, Historic and Natural Environment “It’s great to see the park re-opening more of its fantastic outdoor activities, we are asking customers to act responsibly and adhere to the safety guidelines in place.”
“As we see residents enjoy more areas of Telford Town Park, it’s a great reminder of the incredible beauty spots we have on our doorstep.”
