Ask the leader all your questions

Council leader, Cllr Shaun Davies, will be answering residents questions live on Tuesday 2 June.

This will be the third virtual event that Cllr Davies has hosted since the start of the lockdown during the coronavirus pandemic.

The events pose residents with an opportunity to ask any question they might have about the Council’s response to the crisis, or anything else they may be interested in or concerned about.

The previous two events have seen more than 50 questions answered on a range of topics: from bin collections and support for local businesses, to issues around shielding and future plans for council services.

For this event, Cllr Davies is inviting residents to send in questions in advance (or ask on the night). He is also asking that if anyone would like to send in a short video of themselves asking their question, this would be even better and make the event a bit more interactive.

Cllr Shaun Davies, leader of Telford & Wrekin Council, said: “These events have been great to allow local people to get their questions and concerns answered.

“I’ve enjoyed being able to still connect with residents at this time, despite being unable to host these events face-to-face.

“I’m keen to make them even more interactive so I want to encourage anyone who would like to, to send in their videos of their questions please.”

Anyone who has a question to ask (either in video or written form), can do so in the Facebook event here:
