Frozen 2 Disney Inspired Swim Sessions launch this weekend

Following on from the popular release of Frozen 2 later last year, swim sessions will launch this Saturday at Oakengates Leisure Centre from 2.15pm - 3.15pm with all kinds of splashing fun. Joining you will be more of Disney’s most loved characters, such as Anna, Elsa, Olaf, Kristoff and Sven.

This is the third instalment of the inspired sessions, each 45 minute session includes 10 fun and exciting activities based on core aquatic skills to inspire children to keep healthy and learn a key life skill. This year long programme will feature activities inspired by Swim England essential swimming skills and some of Disney’s popular characters.

The sessions will be delivered by a trained activator, featuring content inspired by the magic of Disney storytelling and endless family fun – targeted at children 3-11 years and suited to all swimming abilities. Parents are required to join in the fun!

Swimming sessions are taking place across all four Telford & Wrekin swimming pool sites; Abraham Darby Leisure Centre, Oakengates Leisure Centre, Newport Swimming Pool and Wellington Civic and Leisure Centre are all available to book online by selecting each individual site. Alternatively, bookings can be made over the phone and in the centres.
Sessions are now bookable for February and March with limited spaces available, please check the pool timetable for full details or for more information click here. The cost of a session for one adult, which also permits one child entrance is £5.45.

Councillor Rae Evans, Cabinet Member for Customer Services, Partnerships, Culture and Leisure said: “A fabulous way to get the kids involved in swimming from Swim England and Disney, the Telford & Wrekin Leisure team are excited to host these Disney Inspired sessions for the duration of the year.”
