The main thoroughfare of Brockton Way is open as normal. Brockton Way to Castlefields Roundabout (A4169) slip road will be open from 6am Monday 14 October. Please note that resurfacing of Cuckoo Oak Roundabout is due to start on 21 October for 2 weeks, again work will be done at night 7pm-6am to minimise disruption. Further information here. Also a reminder that Waterloo Street in Ironbridge is closed until Friday 22 November due to work being done by Severn Trent Water. More info here.

On Wednesday, our Street Champions are helping at a litter pick in Priorslee organised by St Georges & Priorslee Parish Council. Details about becoming a Street Champion and other volunteering opportunities here.

Enforcement – two businesses in Wellington town centre have been served warning notices for obstructing the highway with their display stands.  Whilst the town has been pedestrianised, the area is an access route for emergency vehicles and it is essential to keep it free from obstructions.  Failure to comply with the notices will result in a fine and possible prosecution. Businesses unsure of the law can email the highways team. Report obstructions to the highway here
