Council sponsors Advanced Materials Show

Telford & Wrekin Council is a founding sponsor of the Advanced Materials Show at The International Centre – which takes place on July 10 and 11.

The exhibition is expected to be attended by about 3,000 people will bring together original equipment manufacturers, material developers and manufacturers in the production supply chain.

Councillor Lee Carter, Telford & Wrekin council’s cabinet member for the borough economy, said: “This is a great opportunity for our local businesses to build connections within supply chains and engage with the latest high performance materials and component technology.”

The show – which will have 200 exhibitors – will highlight performance opportunities across many of our sectors such as composites, lightweighting, nanotechnology and sustainability.

Telford & Wrekin Council will be on Stand 1206 in collaboration with the University of Wolverhampton, who are supporting small and medium enterprises.

The stand will have the university’s Formula 3 car on display and will welcome all visitors who want to chat about inward investment and grant opportunities in Telford and Wrekin.
