Bank holiday recycling and waste collection day reminder

Householders are being reminded that their recycling and waste will be collected a day later next week following the early May bank holiday.

Bank holiday recycling and waste collection day reminder

As a result of the early May bank holiday, collections will be a day later than normal. For example, collections that would normally be made on Monday 6 May will instead be made on Tuesday 7 May, continuing like this throughout the week with collections that would normally be made on Friday 10 May being made on Saturday 11 May.

Collections will return to normal on Monday 13 May.  Full details here.

Any residents unsure about which day they should put out their recycling or waste, or wanting more information about what can/can’t be recycled, can check here (insert link) or refer to their collection calendar.

Household Recycling Centres are open as usual over the bank holiday, daily from 9am-5pm each day.
