Road lining – crews are out refreshing road markings in Madeley and Little Dawley.

Drains – a gully tanker is continuing with the year-long programme to clean and empty the borough’s 33,000 drains. This week crews are working in Halesfield, Madelely and Sutton Hill.  You can report a drainage issue here.

Footpaths – this year’s footpath maintenance/improvement programme is underway. Crews are working in Church Road, Wade Road, Malcolm Davies Drive, Gibbons Road, Dickins Road, Lennox Road and James Nelson Crescent.  You can report a footpath issue here.

Potholes - crews are filling potholes that have been reported to us. This week they are working in Admaston, Dawley, Ketley & Overdale and Stirchley.  Please report any you spot here.

Street lighting – the main programme to upgrade street lights to more energy efficient LEDs is complete. Crews are, however, revisiting various locations to upgrade any less straightforward lights e.g. where access had been an issue on their initial visit. If you have a question about street lighting, please email streetlighting@telford.gov.uk.

Grounds maintenance and litter picking – grounds maintenance crews are out as usual this week – mowing and tidying. You can report a grounds maintenance issue here. Street cleansing crews are also out road/footpath sweeping, litter picking, bin emptying etc. Anyone wanting to report an issue with littering in their area can do so here

Street Champions – our volunteer Street Champions are also out and about doing their bit to keep neighbourhoods tidy. As are the YMCA, Reassure, Severn Gorge Countryside Trust and Ricoh – all have litter pick/environmental events this week.  More information about becoming a Street Champion and other volunteering opportunities here.

Environmental enforcement - a number of Fixed Penalty Notices have been issued to fly tippers.  Please take your unwanted goods to the Household Recycling Centres which are open 7 days a week.  If you spot someone fly tipping please report it to us here.
