Switch Telford helps you beat April’s price hikes!

Anyone can log on to www.switch.telford.gov.uk to switch their gas and electricity provider and get a cheaper energy deal for their household.

Switch Telford helps you beat April’s price hikes!

This is even more important to do NOW,   as from April 2019 all of the UK’s “Big Six” energy suppliers are increasing standard rate tariffs, in line with the Ofgem Energy Price Cap increase.

Comparing tariffs and switching supplier is the best way to make savings on your energy bills.

That’s why Telford & Wrekin Council is making it easier for anyone, whether they live in the borough or not, to save money on energy bills, thanks to the Council’s own price comparison and switching website, www.switch.telford.gov.uk

Switch Telford is Ofgem accredited and makes it possible for people to save as much as *£447 on their annual energy bills.

For every switch made through switch.telford.gov.uk, the Council receives a commission which is used to support and sustain council services in the borough, such as those for vulnerable old people and children.

Switch Telford is free to use, lists best possible deals on market in real time and provides tailored advice on the cheapest tariff for individual households.
It takes around 5 minutes to switch your supplier, it’s really that simple.

* Between 1 July 2018 and 31 December 2018, at least 10% of people who switched energy supplier for both gas & electricity with Switch Telford’s Ofgem accredited switching provider saved £447 or more.
