Sky Reach opens its doors for Telford Carnival with a special offer
Sky Reach, the newly improved high rope adventure course opens its doors this Sunday for one day at Telford Carnival, with a special opening price of £10.
Located inside Telford Town Park, the high rope adventure course has four separate elements to tackle. All elements are included in the entry price, sessions are 1.5 hours which includes a safety briefing and harness checks.
Customers at Sky Reach can set off on a journey through the woods as they tackle the lower tree course; balance and reach is needed to swing from tree to tree. But for thrill seekers and those who are up for a serious challenge, the higher skyline course offers 12 obstacles at an incredible height of 11 metres.
In addition to the two ropes courses, Sky Reach is also equipped with a 10 metre climbing wall with several colour coded ability levels. Or, if the sensation of free falling appeals, the quick jump descender is a sure way to experience an immediate adrenaline rush! The quick jump will slow down at the last minute and land each person safely on the ground.
There is a minimum height of 1.3m for course activities, pre booking is required at the Telford Town Park visitor centre located adjacent to Sky Reach. Bookings for Sunday 15 July can be taken over the phone on 01952 382340 prior to the day, or at the visitor centre on Sunday. Each 1.5 hour session is priced at £10 for Telford Carnival; this price will also be honoured for anybody who books a session on Sunday 15 July for a later date.
Councillor Rae Evans, Cabinet Member for People Services, Visitor Economy & Partnerships said “The team are so pleased to be offering such a unique experience to customers in Telford and the surrounding areas; Sky Reach is a truly thrilling and challenging activity.
