The seal aids are particularly fantastic for families with toddlers, enabling them to hop on the back of the skating aid and be pushed by older children and adults on the ice; available at toddler sessions.

The skating aids are available for hire at public skating sessions and are now hired by the customer for the entire session; giving each customer even more time on the ice to enjoy the skating aids.

Councillor John Minor, Cabinet Member for Leisure, Green Spaces and Parks, said: “We really do try to take on board feedback from customers. The team at Telford Ice Rink are constantly looking for new ways to improve the customer skating experience.

“We’re hoping the new skating aids will provide hours of fun and many memories for friends and families visiting the rink.”
