Council approaches NWG Network

Telford & Wrekin Council has made an initial approach to the NWG Network, who support professionals tackling the issues of Child Sexual Exploitation to discuss how the group can support the work being done in Telford . the NWG Network host the National Child Sexual Exploitation Response Unit.

The two organisations have had very positive initial conversations which have explored a range of possible options on how the NWG can assist multi agency partners in Telford. 

Going forward one of a range of options available is for NWG representatives to come to the borough of Telford and Wrekin to assess what work is being done and make recommendations.

A plan is now in place for the two organisations to work together and more information will be made available in due course.
