All the commission earned by Council through Switch Telford goes to sustaining Council’s services for vulnerable people from the Borough.

Telford & Wrekin Council is making it easier both for residents and non-residents to save money on their energy bills.

Switch Telford, the Council’s energy price comparison and switching website, has recorded more than 300 switches since its launch last spring, with an average saving of over £200 a year.

For every switch made through, the Council receives a commission which will be used towards supporting and sustaining council services in the borough, such as those for vulnerable old people and children.

Councillor Lee Carter, Cabinet member for Finance, Commercial Services & Economic Development said:
