A by election to fill a vacancy on Telford & Wrekin Council in the Horsehay and Lightmoor ward will be held on Thursday December 8.
The vacancy has arisen because of the death of Conservative ward member Councillor Clive Mollett.
Hours of polling for the by-election will be between 7am and 10pm and there will be three polling stations at Horsehay Village Hall, Bridge Road, Horsehay: The Oaktree Centre, Lightmoor Way, Lightmoor Village and Lawley & Overdale Parish Council offices, Unit 2, West Centre Way.
There are also three contested Parish Council by-elections later this month on Thursday November 24. These have all arisen as a result of existing councillors deciding to stand down.
The parish council by-elections will be to fill a vacant seat on Madeley Town Council and two vacant seats on Dawley Hamlets Parish Council, one in the Aqueduct ward and the other in the Dawley Hamlets ward.
The Madeley by-election will have two polling stations, one at The Venue, Queen Street, Madeley, and the other at Sutton Hill Community Centre, Southgate, Sutton Hill.
The polling station for the Dawley Hamlets ward seat on Dawley Hamlets Parish Council will be at Horsehay Village Hall, Bridge Road, Horsehay. The polling station for the Aqueduct ward seat on Dawley Hamlets Parish Council will be Aqueduct Primary School, Castlefields Way, Aqueduct.
Poll cards have been issued to every elector for the Parish Council by elections and are also being issued for the Borough Council by election.
For those electors who have chosen to vote by post, packs are being issued this week.
