Take a MOOC!
MOOCs are Massive Open Online Courses and they available now, offering people who are not in higher education the opportunity to study bite-sized, high quality free courses from home.
Thecourses are ideal to help people get back into learning or to continue studyingsubjects in a more specialist subject area.
Whetherbrushing up on cyber security, improving business and management knowledge, orwhether it’s an interest in studying history, art, law, science and many othersubjects, reputable free online courses from leading universities and culturalinstitutions can be found here.
SouthwaterLibrary is offering a drop-in seesion on Thursday 3 December for people to comealong and find out more about MOOCs and Futurelearn and making the most of thelearning available.
Thesession takes place between 10am and 2pm gives people the opportunity to findout more and also find out how Telford & Wrekin libraries can help make themost of any learning experience.

“Iwould urge anyone who wants to learn more about MOOCs and other learningopportunities to come along to the drop-in session on Thursday.
