Work is currently under way on a brand new £8.5 million Civic Quarter and a £1.2 million scheme starting this summer to repave Market Square , New Street and the area outside Rasputins.
Consultation has now started to ask people for their opinions on whether key streets in the town centre should be pedestrianised.
The suggestion to pedestrianise Market Square , New Street , Crown Street , Bell Street and Duke Street came earlier this year from Wellington Town Council and Wellington Chamber of Commerce
A survey has now been put together by Telford & Wrekin Council, working with Wellington Town Council and Wellington Chamber of Commerce, to consult on the proposals and to ask as many people as possible to share their views.
