3,000 Boyzone fans bag early bird and TLC bargain tickets
More than 3,000 fans of Boyzone have now bagged their tickets for the Irish pop sensations’ headline show at Telford’s QEII Fields In Trust Town Park Arena on Saturday 27 June 2015.
Almost 300 Telford Loyalty Card holders have already made the most of the exclusive TLC deal which not only offers £10 off the cost of an adult ticket, reducing this to £25, but also a free ticket for an under 16 year old with every adult ticket bought. Tickets for the show went on sale last Friday.
The Council negotiated the exclusive TLC offer for local residents, giving them the best deal possible. This offer runs until 30 April.
The exclusive free under 16 ticket for TLC holders must either be booked in person at Southwater One in Telford Town Centre or at Oakengates Theatre’s box office or by calling 01952 382382.
From 1 May, ticket prices with a TLC will be £30 for adults and £25 for children aged 16 and under. From this date there will no longer be free tickets for 16 years and under. From 1 May, anyone without a TLC card will pay £35 for an adult and £30 for a child aged 16 and under.
Councillor Shaun Davies, Telford & Wrekin Council’s cabinet lead for Commercial Projects, said: "The response has so far been fantastic with really strong sales, both in Telford and further afield.
"It’s great to see that so many families in the borough have already snapped up our TLC offer, the best deal available, and that so many people are making the most of free tickets for under 16s.
"We look forward to welcoming a huge crowd to Telford Town Park for an event that will really help put us firmly on the map and attract lots of new visitors here."
If you don’t yet have a Telford Loyalty Card, and want to benefit from the TLC ticket offer, you can get these from borough libraries, leisure centres and Southwater One. Or you can download the free TLC app, available on iPhone and Android.
