Telford & Wrekin Council is holding a leisure open day to celebrate the opening of the new Stirchley community and school sports facilities – part of the Telford Park School.
The event will take place on Saturday 19 September between 11am and 2pm and is supported by the Sport England Brookside Beactive scheme.
It will feature a range of free activities available for local residents to take part in including zumba, golf, badminton, tai chi, football, gym tours and mini health checks.
The new facility officially opens to the public on Monday (14 SEP) and features a brand new sports hall, dance studio and aspirations health and fitness suite.
The council also has an opening offer for new joiners. Anyone who joins on any six month membership at Stirchley Recreation Centre and receive the first month free.
